Experiences in GFCC Community Highlighted at Stolypin Forum on Competitiveness in Russia

The GFCC

Chaired by Russia’s Presidential Commissioner for Entrepreneur Rights and the Rector of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, the Stolypin Forum gathered more than 1,500 participants at the University’s campus for a discussion on growth, technology, global transformations and competitiveness strategies. GFCC Executive Director Roberto Alvarez, Prof. Jamal Othman – from Majlis Profesor Negara – and GFCC fellows Nathalie Cely and Tae-Shin Kwon took part in the “Successful Strategy Practices” session, sharing experiences from Korea, Latin America, Malaysia and other geographies. The conversation highlighted aspects such as the importance of making strategic choices and identifying strategic economic growth engines, the setup of institutions, performance management for government operations and institutional experimentation in the age of fast technology expansion.
