Lori Schmidt

Distinguished Fellow

Lori Schmidt (EC DEV, MBC), Loral Management Group (LMG), focuses on supporting leaders and organizations through executive and organizational competitiveness advisory, facilitation and coaching services. In her leadership roles, including, former CEO of a national not-for-profit productivity and innovation knowledge and support consultancy corporation, Lori has a passion to assist firms and leaders build resiliency through difficult times as well as build innovative capacity. Lori has shifted her work over the past few years to focus on supporting entrepreneurs to adopt digital in growing and scaling their businesses. Also, Lori supports the social impact sector working with nonprofit organizations to further collaborative initiatives for greater impact.​

 

Lori is recognized as a Distinguished Fellow of the Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils - a global network of leaders from competitiveness organizations around the world. Lori has participated on global panels and delivered programs including “innovation and leading through challenging times” and is a great believer that our people are our future skills are our most valuable resource.

 

Lori also serves as the Honorary Consul for the Kingdom of Belgium to Alberta, Canada.

In 2018 Lori was named one of Canada’s Top 50 over 50 for her business and community leadership.
