Global Innovation Summit (GIS)
The Global Innovation Summit (GIS) is the GFCC’s flagship event. It is a prestigious gathering of C-suite leaders working across sectors to exchange information and best practices united by the shared mission of boosting productivity, inclusive growth, and prosperity worldwide. The GIS is a high profile event for the GFCC community and invitation-only guests.
Being part of GIS is to have the opportunity to connect with the future, in a very global and extraordinary way.
The Summit happens yearly in partnership with a member who hosts the event in their country. Since the GFCC’s inception, the GIS has been held in 11 locations across the globe. Two editions were held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Global Competitiveness Award
The GFCC annually honors global leaders whose contributions have significantly advanced competitiveness, sustainable development, economic growth, innovation, or prosperity in their region.
Field Trips and Workshops
Immersive field trips and workshops showcase the host country and city's innovation ecosystem, featuring key programs, initiatives, and ventures. Through interactive sessions, discussions, and presentations, GFCC leaders directly engage with local stakeholders to gain firsthand insights on local realities, explore opportunities, access talent, and exchange best practices.
