Edward D. Agne
Senior Fellow
Edward D. Agne is an entrepreneurial senior executive, with over 30 years of corporate communications experience. His practice areas include biotechnology, healthcare, life science, telecom, and IT. He has additional experience in mergers and acquisitions, crisis management, and international development.
Mr. Agne established The Communications Strategy Group in 1987, a consulting firm that assists new and early stage companies in managing their corporate, investor, and marketing communications. Prior to forming CSG, he was Vice President of Avondale Industries and its subsequent company, Connell Limited Partnership, Boston. He maintains active relationships with MassBio (Boston), CLSA (San Francisco), BioCom (San Diego), Oxford Bioscience Network, (Oxford, England) and One Nucleus (Cambridge, England). He serves on the Advisory Board of TrifermedCBDO, a contract business development organization headquartered in Barcelona.
Mr. Agne is a former Trustee and former Director of the world-renowned Forsyth Institute, a pioneering biomedical research organization in Cambridge, MA, where he now serves on the President’s Council. He is a founder and former president of the Board of Trustees of The American Friends of the Churchill Museum (London). He is an active member and former Director of the British American Business Council of New England. He has served as an Adjunct Professor at Boston University where he taught part-time in the College of Communication. Mr. Agne received a B.S in Physiology/Zoology from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio.
